The Outline view also shows a list of all documents. In this view you also see information used to organize the documents within the course. This information is not visible to students but will show how your course documents are organized and ordered. Each document has a module number, a section letter and a document number which determine what module and section the document appears in, and in what order. Within the sections, documents appear in document number order. The document numbers don't have to be sequential; in fact, the numbers often go by 10's to leave space to add documents if needed later. No two modules should have the same Module Number; every section within a module should have a unique section letter; and every document in a section should have a unique document number.

You will use this view when you create Stand Alone Evaluations. You can also use this view if you think a document is misplaced by being in the wrong order, or being in the incorrect section or module
