Subject: Step by Step instructions: Bulletin Board Documents (and Newsflash Archive)

Respond to a Bulletin Board Document

  1. Go to the Course Map and click on the "Bulletin Board" link in the Class Community section.
  2. Click on the specific document you want to respond to.
  3. Click on the "respond" icon at the bottom of that document.
  4. Fill in the subject and your response.
  5. Click the "Submit your response" button at the bottom.

Create a New Bulletin Board Document (or a Newsflash Archive)
  1. Go to the Course Map and click on the "Bulletin Board" link in the Class Community section.
  2. Click on the Post a New Item/Question icon to bring up a blank Bulletin Board form.
  3. Enter the Subject (e.g.: Newsflash Archive).
  4. Type or copy and paste your message into the text box.
  5. Click on the Submit your Bulletin Board Document button.
  6. (optional) You may add a URL link or attach a file using the tools at the bottom of the Bulletin Board form.
  7. For your Newsflash Archive document, each time you put up a new Newsflash announcement, you would cut and paste the old message into this document (using the "edit" button), thus creating a working list of old announcements.
