This is a public area where participants may hold informal discussions, get genral help information, access archived Newsflash announcements, etc. Issues that are discussed may or may not pertain to the subject matter. In a traditional campus course, students can hold conversations before and after class. The Bulletin Board can meet the social need that students have to interact with each other. Professors may also choose to provide information to students in that area. It is often suggested that professors keep a running archive of their newsflash in the Bulletin Board. That way students will be able to access any posting that they might have previously missed. Some of the documents you see below are automatically included within the Bulletin Board of every SLN course.
