Image of Professor Navigator View menuThe Professor Navigator "Views" consist of various ways to organize, display and access all or only specific documents within the course. The basic and most used options allow you to view All Documents, By Date(chronological) and By Author (by student name). Many of the views are self-explanatory and you should take some time to explore all of them to determine which ones may suit your course and work style the best. Below is a list of the 5 most used views and brief descriptions of them. Click on a hyperlink to view more detailed descriptions of those views or just use the "Next Document" link on this page.

1. All Documents view: displays all the documents in the course, organized by module, section and document number.

2. Outline view: same as the All Documents view, except this view also displays module number, section letter, and document number information (used when creating a Stand-Alone evaluation and when developing a course or creating new learning module documents).

3. By Author views: displays documents by student name. There are three options to further order the documents here: 1) By Module: organizes documents under each student name by module and section, 2) Chronological: organizes student submissions by date, 3) Evaluations: only displays the evaluations you have created for each student.

4. Developer views - All By Date: enables you to see all the documents in your course sorted by date. By expanding a date, documents are displayed sorted by section. This view gives you another way to track your progress in reading and responding to documents, as sorted by date.

5. Developer views - Attendance: can help document student attendance. It gives you a quick quantitative view of student participation and the dates of those submissions.
