Subject: By Author Views

As you can see by the twistie next to the By Author link in the Professor Navigator column, there are three By Author view options. Use these views to find the work of a particular student.

The By Author Chronological views showing a list of submission by one student. The sortable column is highligtedBy Author/Chronological view shows you everything that each student within your course has submitted in chronological order. Notice the right pointing "twisties" mean that you can click on them to expand the list of documents. Hint: Notice the small black triangles next to the Author, Created and Subject column headings. If the view is expanded, you can click on the triangles to sort this view by Created date or Subject.















Screen Image of the By Author/Evaulations view showing the graded evaluations of one studentBy Author/Evaluations view shows the evaluations you have written for each student and the module they appear in. If you have assigned a grade to the evaluation (See Module 4 for information about grades) the grade will appear. This view might be useful when you are writing narrative outcomes for your students at the end of the term.








By Author/By Module view shows the students participation over a series of modules. You might use it to see if a student is participating consistently during the term. This view also gives the total number of documents created by each student.
