Subject: Getting Technical Help
If you experience technical problems that interrupt your ability to complete class work, it's important that you know where to seek help immediately. Here is a simple guide for where you should direct questions and calls for help.

      Who you should contact...
      Login to your ISP (Internet Service Provider); connecting to web sites; launching web browser software (Netscape, Internet Explorer).
      Your ISP (Internet Service Provider)
      Connecting to the SUNY Learning Network web site; login to the SLN Student Commons and access to your Course Map; interacting or participating in course activities; submission of assignments or file attachments in course.
      The SLN HelpDesk:
      • select "HelpDesk" links on the web site
      • send email to HelpDesk@SLN.suny.edu
      • call 1.800.875.6269, press 2


Please note that your instructor is not on this list. If you send inquiries to me about these technical problems, I will refer you to the resources listed.
