Subject: Working with Pending Evaluations
Viewing Pending Evaluations
You can see all of your Pending Evaluations in one place by using the Actions: Pending Evaluations option from the Professor Navigator. From this page, you can link directly to each individual evaluation. You can also mark multiple evaluations for change to Save for Student status
At the top of the Course Map, click on the link for Professor Navigator.
From the left column of the Professor Navigator, click on the link that says Pending Evaluations under the Actions section. The screen on the right side will change to show a menu of links to all pending evaluations as shown below.
From within this same view, you can click on the link for each pending evaluation and edit it. Then use the link "Return to Course Map" to get out of this view.
Returning Pending Evaluations to the Student
To return a Pending Evaluation to the student, you must change the save option from Private Save to Save for Student.
To edit any evaluation in the course, open the evaluation by clicking on the title link. Then go into edit mode by clicking on the Edit button on the top of the evaluation. Then change any parts of the evaluation you need to complete, change the save option to Save for Student. Then click the Save link at the top of the evaluation to save your changes.
You can edit an evaluation from any view. However the Actions: Pending Evaluations option is convenient since it shows all your pending evaluations. From the Pending Evaluations view, click the document link, make any changes you want to the document, scroll to the top of the form and click the Save link. The Save will save your evaluation, while the Cancel link will discard any changes you made and revert to the last saved copy of the evaluation.
If you have several evaluations saved as Private Saves, you can release all or just a batch of them at the same time from the Pending Evaluations view in the Professor Navigator. Notice in the image above, there is a check box in front of the link each evaluation. Place a check mark in the box by clicking in it. Check any evaluations you want to change. Then change the answer to "Save these evaluations for student?" to "Yes". If there were multiple private saved evaluations, you could use the Select All link or you could manually check off the ones you desire to change. Then click the Submit Change button for the change to go through.
To get out of the Professor Navigator view, click on Return to Course Map.
