Part 1: Have you taught online for another college?
Yes, I have taught online at Northampton Community College's Distance Learning Department. I currently teach Elementary Spanish I and II.
Part 2: What do you most look forward to from your online course?
I look forward to learning more about effectively facilitating online courses, since I plan to continue teaching outside of the traditional classroom.
Part 3: What one thing most concerns you about teaching online?
Effectively facilitating! I want to be present but not intrusive. I've also had problems in the past with the quality of students' written responses, but I think when expectations are clearly set, students are more likely to develop quality responses.
