Subject: Evaluation Views
The online courses provide a number of different views where you can access the evaluations you have created. They are each listed below with a screenshot to accompany it.
Your Evaluations
This first screenshot is of the information within the Your Evaluations link that is located on the Course Map. Students will access this link and only see their own evaluations. As the professor, you will see all evaluations in this course within this area. They can be arranged by date or by module. There is also a Discussion Rating view which will allow you and students to track grades on their discussion postings (if you choose to use discussion ratings and also to display those ratings to students - see second screenshot for how to view ratings that are not displayed to students).
Developer Views - Response Rating
Use this view to display and track discussion response ratings (if used). The ratings will be displayed in this view whether you choose to display them to the students or not. Students do not have access to this view. If you want to release some privately saved ratings to your students, go to the Actions menu and click on "Display Discussion Rating."
Evaluations within Modules
This third screenshot was taken from within a Module. Evaluations will always appear indented underneath the original submission within the module. Both you and student will be able to see evaluations in this area. (You will notice that a Twistie will appear next to each assignment submission that has an evaluation.)
Views: By Author - Evaluations
On the left side (grey area), under Views, click on the twistie next to "3. By Author" (if that section isn't expanded already). Then click on the Evaluations sub-link. All evaluations are listed by students' last names. From this view you can access and edit these evaluations if necessary.
Actions: Pending Evaluations
If you have previously created evaluations and chose the "Private Save" option (so that you can release all the evaluations at the same time), you can click on the link under Actions that says "Pending Evaluations" and the screen on the right side will change to the screenshot below. To release the evaluations to the students, you click in the check box next to each evaluation (or just click on the "Select All" link) and then change the radio button answer near the top to "Save these evaluations for student?" to "Yes". Then click the Submit Change button for the change to go through so the students can view the evaluations.
