Getting Help
If you experience technical problems that interrupt your class work it's important for you to know where to turn for help. Directing your questions to the right person the first time will save you time and wasted effort. Here is a simple guide to where you should direct your questions and calls for help:

      Problems with:
      You should contact:
      Logging on to your ISP (Internet Service Provider), launching your web browser (Netscape, Explorer, etc.).
      Your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
      Connecting to the course web page, using the Course Map and course documents, submitting assignments and attachments.

    • clicking on "HelpDesk" link on the Course Map to submit a request
    • sending the HelpDesk an email at HelpDesk@SLN.suny.edu
    • phoning the HelpDesk at 1.800.875.6269

Please note that your instructor is not on this list. Instructors do not handle technical problems. If the issue is not technical, and you cannot reach your instructor, email: CDLStudent@esc.edu. Your email will be directed to someone who can help you.
