Bulletin Board is a way for you to interact and communicate with other students and me by posting and reading messages about subject matter related to the course in a public forum. It is basically the same as asking a question before or after class. Located in the Class Community area of the course map. Discussion Area is where you post your responses to my discussion questions and read the responses of others. Your contributions to discussions are an important part of the course, and part of the learning activities you'll be evaluated on. Located within the Learning Modules. Questions to the Instructor is located at the bottom of each learning module. If you want clarification, further information, or explanation of something in that module, click on the "question mark" icon and type your question at the prompt. This feature will activate only if a student asks a question. Essentially this feature provides you with the opportunity to "raise your hand" from anywhere in the course, and to let other students hear your question and my response. Your Private Folder is a private one-on-one way for you to communicate with me. Your messages, papers and correspondence are saved in one folder which no one else can open. Located in the Class Community area of the course map. My Email should be used only for an immediate problem or emergency. |

I will be online at least three times a week: on Tuesdays and Thursdays, usually in the mornings; and once on the weekend. |
