Subject: Discussion for Module 2: Establishing a Baseline for (Modern) Social Change (Start: September 15, 2003 End: September 28, 2003).
I have thrown out a number of questions in the mini-lectures. Pick one or two of them, and begin your contributions to the discussion. Others will respond, and we shall have several discussion threads going on. I shall attempt to contribute my own thoughts, along the way. For example, you might begin by addressing the question: At what time, between the 1950's and today, would you prefer to be a young (say, twenties) person? A middle-aged person? An aging person? Why?
