Describe how will you interact with students at a distance: | Students must attend the residency in Hartsdale. |
Description: | The Entrepreneurship residency will give students the opportunity to create a real business from theory to practice. Students will explore the entrepreneurial mind-set and learn every aspect of a business start-up. Between the residency sessions, students will be required to participate on the course website with online discussions. Students will complete a business plan for a business of their own choosing.
This residency will take place at the Hartsdale Center. The first meeting of the residency on March 17, will include guest speakers and focus on the elements of a business plan.
At the follow-up meeting on April 21, students will present their final business plan to an expert from the Small Business Administration.
This residency is relevant to students in all concentrations, as entrepreneurship is truly interdisciplinary.
