Description:
U.S. History II: 1865 to Present is a survey study that covers important events in American history from the mid to late 1800’s until the present. Students will examine various political, social, and cultural themes in this study. Topics include industrialization, urban development, labor struggles, immigration trends, American imperialism, the Progressive Movement, WWI, the Depression, the New Deal, the Cold War and Nuclear Age, the 1950's, Civil Rights, the 1960's, the Vietnam War, the Cold War era, globalization, current cultural and political issues within the United States.
