Description: | This study will offer students insight into the concept of power -- social control or influence over others -- and its complex effects at the individual, interpersonal, group and organization levels. It aims to provide a thorough understanding of how power dynamics shape our relationships and experiences in personal, social, occupational, and political spheres. It will examine the ways in which power has been studied in the social sciences, focusing on empirical research on this topic. Different models and conceptualization of power, ranging from classic to modern theories will be explored. |
