Description:
This study introduces the student to various critical approaches to literature, such as the Aristotelian (moral), psychological, sociological, genre, history of ideas, myth, feminist, etc. approaches. To facilitate this study, the student will analyze and evaluate appropriate selections of literature from these viewpoints.

This study may, in some cases, satisfy the general education requirement for Other World Civilizations. Please consult with the instructor.

If this study satisfies the general education requirement in the Humanities, it does not satisfy any other general education requirement.
