Description: | This is a totally independent study designed to meet the student's interests in Native American culture and/or history. The assignments and topics that will be covered will be developed based on a proposal and self assessment of prior learning in this area by the student. Activities will include readings in required texts and independent research based on the student's area of interest. The student will work with the Tutor to develop the individualized learning activities, research strategy, and final project. Topics for individual study may include any area of culture and/or material culture, geopolitical history, and/or contemporary issues. |
