A solid discussion of the way that "politcal correctness" has so influenced textbooks and educational materials that men cannot be shown in professional roles, nor women in domestic ones (although the reverse is just fine). "Seniors" must be doing wind sprints; children must be compliant; all foods must be nutritious. And, presumably, no stories are allowed about the Midwest, because this disadvantages those who live in the mountains or on the Gulf.
