Subject: Instructions for Using Your Private Folder

The Online Office Hours feature of your online course is a section of the course specifically designed for all private communication between the student and the instructor. Within the Online Office Hours section, a private folder is created for each student in the course. All documents created in this area are private and viewable only between the instructor and the individual student. You will only be able to see and use your individualized folder.

Using your private folder in the Online Office Hours for private communications with your instructor eliminates the need for and use of unreliable email systems for course-related communications in your course.

Instructions:
To activate your private folder you must go to the Meet your Classmates section of the course found on the course map in the "Class Community" area, and submit your introduction.

You must be sure to monitor your private folder for communications.
